Cardiac Critical Care RN

Overview

Travel RN assignment in the 3rd Floor CCU.
16-bed unit.
Shift: 0700-1930.
Weekly guaranteed hours: 36.
Every other weekend required.
No call requirement.
First to float with low census.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Indiana
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS
ACLS
CCU - Coronary Care (2 years of experience)
CCU - Coronary Care experience within the last year
Experience in a Critical Care setting
Ventilator management with respiratory therapy support
Titratable vasoactive drips

Unit Details

Patient ratios: 1:1, 1:2, 1:3
Equipment includes vents, Arctic Sun, temporary pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz
Patient population includes post-Cath STEMIs, NSTEMIs, direct admits from other facilities, and medical ICU overflow
