- 7:00 PM–7:00 AM
- No call required
- 36 hours per week
- Unit is on the 6th floor of the Main building
- 24-bed cell therapy transplant unit
- Rotating weekends
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Bone Marrow Transplant (1 year of experience)
- Bone Marrow Transplant experience within the last year
- Oncology experience
- ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate
Preferred Qualifications
- BMT experience
- CAR-T experience
Unit Details
- Patient ratio: 1:3 or 1:4
- Typical procedures include chemotherapy/biotherapy treatment, blood product administration, frequent lab draws, and cell transplants
- Equipment includes alaris pumps
- EMR: Meditech
Work Environment
- Day shift staff includes 1 CNC, 7 RN, and 2 PCT
- Night shift staff includes 1 CNC, 7 RN, and 1 PCT
- Dress code: navy scrubs
- No artificial or gel nails
- Masks required in patient care areas
