Sleep Tech - Sleep Medicine (Travel Position)

Location: Munster, Indiana
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Shift:

• 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
• Weekend rotation every other Thursday, Friday, Saturday (3 shifts per week)
  Weekend Hours: Yes
  Call/Holiday Coverage: No

• Unit: Sleep Disorders Center
• Number of Beds: 6
• Patient Ratio: 2:1
• Patient Type: Ambulatory
• Equipment Used: NATUS SleepWorkx
• EMR System: EPIC

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Polysomnographer, including experience within the last year
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

Work Environment & Expectations

• Team player who can work autonomously
• Punctuality is important
• Dress Code:

  • Scrubs of any color
  • No street clothes, jeans, torn clothing, or suggestive/revealing attire
  • Nails must be of appropriate length

Additional Information

• No float requirements
• No equipment will be issued by the employer for this role
• Candidate must complete education modules prior to first day
• Reporting location is a two-story building with parking behind the building
