Facility & Unit Overview

• Acute care hospital with 86 beds
• Labor and Delivery unit located on 3rd floor
• Unit beds: 5
• Patient population: Adult and neonate
• Patient ratios: 1:2 or 1:1
• Electronic Health Record system: Paragon
• Shift: 7 PM to 7 AM
• Weekly guaranteed hours: 36
• Weekend hours: rotated
• No call requirements
• No float requirements

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 year of recent Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
• Experience in OB/GYN
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing

Job Responsibilities & Skills

• Provide care for pregnant patients during labor and delivery
• Monitor fetal heart rate and interpret tracings
• Administer labor medications and assist with cervical exams
• Work collaboratively as a team player with a friendly attitude

Additional Information

• Dress code: Scrubs of any color allowed
• No specific unacceptable attire noted
• Orientation schedule available throughout the year
