CT Tech - Radiology (Travel Position)

Location

• Sierra Vista, Arizona
• Facility with 120 beds, Trauma Level 3
• Patient population includes pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients

Position Details

• Specialty: CT Tech (XRAY/CT)
• Role: Radiologic Technologist (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT))
• Shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Sunday
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours guaranteed
• Weekend hours required
• No call requirements
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Unit and Equipment

• Department: CT/XRAY
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Equipment used: GE Revolution Maxima 128 Slice CT, GE X-ray, GE Portable X-ray
• Electronic Health Records (EHR): Cerner, Optum PACS

Required Qualifications

• Valid CT Technologist license in Arizona
• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
• X-Ray Technician experience
• Certifications: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists), AZDHS (Arizona Department of Health Services), BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Associate degree from an accredited school of Radiology

Skills and Experience

• Must have CT, X-ray, and computer experience
• Common diagnoses encountered: Pulmonary Embolism (PE), Gastrointestinal Bleed (GI Bleed), Cerebrovascular Accident (CVA), Trauma
• Personality fit: Hardworking, team player, detail-oriented, organized

Dress Code

• Scrub color: Any
• Unacceptable attire: Acrylic nails, baseball hats, T-shirts (except allowed on Fridays)

Additional Notes

• No float requirements
• No call or on-call duties
