Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Texas
Labor and Delivery experience within the last year
2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
NRP
Ability to circulate C-sections
High-risk labor management
Pitocin titration
Fetal monitoring interpretation
Neonatal resuscitation participation
Postpartum/couplet care competency

Preferred Qualifications

AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
STABLE
Previous rural hospital experience
Experience in an LDRP model

Role Details

Scope includes labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn care
Patient ratio: 1:1 for labor, 3:1 for couplet care
Must work 1 major holiday if the assignment overlaps with a holiday
Maximum requested time off: 6 days within a 6-week period
No 48-hour option
No block guarantee

Additional Notes

Must be more than 50 miles from the facility
Scrub color: navy blue or pink
