Job Overview
- Location: Saint Louis, Missouri
- Employment type: Travel

- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
- Contract length: 13 weeks
- Weekly hours: 36 or 48 hours
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend
- Call: None
- Float: May float to other units based on staffing needs
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Missouri
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- 1 year of Med Surg experience
- Med Surg experience within the last year
- BLS issued by American Heart Association
- Experience in an Inpatient setting
- Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
- ACLS certification from AHA only
Unit Details
- 30 beds
- Typical patient ratio: 1:6–7
- Patient population includes GI, GU, wound care, acute withdrawal, altered mental status, dialysis/ESRD, and minor surgical patients
Work Environment
- Uses the nursing process to provide direct patient care across all age groups
- High physical demands, including standing and walking most of the shift, lifting and turning patients with assistance, and exposure to blood and body fluids
