Job Description

• Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing
• Manage labor progression and assist with deliveries
• Respond promptly to obstetric emergencies
• Provide safe, efficient, and compassionate nursing care in Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics
• Administer medications and perform cervical exams within scope
• Interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Prepare patients for operative deliveries
• Provide postpartum education and emotional support to patients and families
• Promote a positive birth experience and ensure optimal outcomes for mother and newborn

Required Qualifications

• Specialty: Nursing (Labor & Delivery)
• Minimum Years of Experience: Not explicitly stated, but must have experience in Labor & Delivery (assumed at least 1 year)
• Current Montana RN license required
• Certifications: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), BLS (Basic Life Support), Stable
