Travel Nurse Opportunity – Medical Surgical Unit (Med Surg)

Location: Winslow, Arizona (Small rural hospital)
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Start Date: July 8

Position Details

• Unit: Medical Surgical (Med Surg)
• Shift: Nights (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Schedule: At least 2 weekends per month (may vary)
• Openings: 1

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• ACLS and BLS certification required
• Pediatric experience strongly preferred but not mandatory
• Experience with advanced life support
• Ability to manage a wide range of diagnoses
• Willingness to take COVID rule outs
• Experience in a small facility is helpful
• Cerner experience preferred

Additional Information

• Patient ratios range from 1:4 to 1:6 depending on acuity
• Hospital housing provided in nearby modular home (no pets or significant others allowed)
• Night shift position with a diverse patient population including pediatrics
