Job Opportunity: Labor & Delivery RN

Location: Greenville, Ohio

Position Details

• Specialty: Labor & Delivery
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend required
• Facility Type: Rural community hospital, level 1 maternity unit in Ohio
• Orientation: 24 hours

Requirements

• Licenses/Certifications:

  • Current Ohio RN license
  • BLS (Basic Life Support)
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
  • Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in Obstetrics (OB)
• Skills:

  • Comfortable working in all areas of the birthing center
  • Cross-trained in labor, mother/baby, newborn nursery, and postpartum care
• Charting Systems: Centricity and CPSI

Unit Information

• 4 labor and delivery rooms
• 6 postpartum rooms
• Approximately 30 deliveries per month
• Staffing follows AWHONN guidelines
