Radiologic Technologist (X Ray-Tech) - Morgantown, West Virginia

Contract Details

• Length: 13 weeks
• Shifts: Day, afternoon, night
• Hours per day: 12
• Hours per week: 36
• Weekend and holiday work required (holidays possibly required)
• No call or standby requirement

Job Description & Duties

• Perform X-ray, OR (C-arm) fluoroscopy imaging
• Average of 400 scans/studies per day
• Use of Toshiba Rad Rooms, Carestream portables, OEC C-arms
• Work with Epic and Fuji Synapse EMR/PACS systems
• No floating or coverage of other areas required
• No IV starts required
• Radiologist and residents available in-house 24/7
• Scrubs provided; department-specific dress code applies

Required Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• BLS certification
• West Virginia State Radiologic Technologist license
• Experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy required
• Must provide an unexpired driver’s license with an address outside 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Radiation badge must be provided by the agency; facility does not provide it
• Department has 5 scanners/rooms
• Department-specific orientation required, including 12-hour weekend days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday), holidays, and call as required
• Submission rules apply: only one submission per candidate at a time across the system; previous permanent candidates must have been gone for 2 years; previous travelers must have been gone for 2 years after 1 full year on assignment
• Travel teams must be submitted together
• Maximum of 2 candidates submitted per opening; additional submissions held until a spot opens

Experience

• Must have experience with C-arm and fluoroscopy imaging

Notes

• No Registered Radiology Assistants (RRA) used in the department
