Schedule

• 12-hour day shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend
• Every other holiday
• Call or standby may be required depending on staffing

Unit Overview

• Labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum unit with 15 beds total
• 1 operating room suite for C-sections
• About 58 births per month
• May float to Med-Surg and the ER as needed

Required Qualifications

• BLS certification
• Ability to read and interpret fetal strips
• Ability to titrate drips
• Must be able to read strips independently
• Previous travel experience
• Must be able to float within the hospital as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS
• NRP
• STABLE
• Intermediate fetal monitoring

Key Responsibilities

• Manage pitocin, insulin, and magnesium drips
• Read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
• Provide care for obstetric and neonatal patients
• Support couplet care and patients on pitocin, magnesium, or insulin drips

Additional Details

• No clinical involvement
• No self-scheduling; block scheduling is allowed
• 3 shifts of unit orientation
• Scrubs are provided
• RTO must be submitted upfront and additional RTO will not be approved
• Candidates must meet the stated radius and recent employment restrictions
