Radiation Therapist

Location

Contract Length

Schedule

Day shift
40 hours per week
5x8 hours or possibly 4x10 hours

Required Qualifications

BLS certification
ARRT-registered Radiation Therapist
West Virginia state license
Experience with IMRT, IGRT, SRS, and SBRT
Experience with Varian treatment machines, with TrueBeam preferred
Experience with Aria EMR
Experience caring for both adult and pediatric patients

Job Details

No floating to other areas
No IV starts required
No call or standby
No weekend requirement
No holiday requirement
Department-specific orientation provided
Scrub color: gray

Additional Notes

Must be able to work with an average patient load of 25 patients per machine, plus 6–9 CT simulation patients per day
Can submit up to 45 days out
Previous perm candidates must be gone for 2 years
Previous travelers there for 1 full year must be gone for 2 years
Drivers license address must be outside 50 miles from the facility
