Overview

• Day OR Tech role in Omaha, Nebraska.
• Contract length: 13 weeks.
• Shifts include 8- and 12-hour days, with an additional mid shift option Monday-Thursday (1030-2100) and rotating weekend call.
• Flexibility is emphasized.

Required Qualifications

• Surgical Technologist with 2 years of experience.
• Surgical Technologist experience within the last year.
• BLS issued by American Heart Association.
• Driver's License.
• Neuro experience.
• Ortho experience.
• Robotics experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• CST preferred.

Schedule and Call

• 1-4 hour call after a shift every week.
• Weekend call from Friday evening to Sunday evening about every 5 weeks.
• Two call teams alternate between first call and second call every 12 hours.

Float Scope

• No floating outside of the OR.

Additional Details

• Artificial nails are prohibited in patient care areas.
• Green scrubs are provided.
• The role includes a wide case mix across general surgery, GYN, GU/Cysto, ortho, neuro, plastics, eye, ENT, thoracic, and endoscopy.
• Pediatrics may be seen in emergency situations.
• Equipment includes DaVinci Robot x3, stealth, o-arm, and holmium lasers.
• The department has 12 suites.
