Registered Nurse — Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum

Contract Length

• 13 weeks

Shift

• Nights
• 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• BLS (AHA)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• 1 year of specialty experience within the last 3 years

Preferred Experience

• 1 year of travel experience
• Experience with labor, antepartum, postpartum, and OR circulator duties
• Transition role experience

Assignment Details

• 15-bed LDRP unit
• 2 OR suites on the unit for C-sections
• 3 triage beds
• Dedicated postpartum unit
• Approximately 100 deliveries per month
• Ratios:

  • Labor: 1:1-2
  • Postpartum: 1:1-4
  • Triage: 1:1-3
• 24/7 scrub tech support for C-sections
• On-call requirement: 2 twelve-hour shifts per month
• Weekend requirement: 6-9 shifts in 6 weeks
• If census is low, the RN remains on call and must be available to return if census changes

Additional Notes

• Clinicians must be in state for the week of orientation, even if first-day modules are remote
• Driver’s license must be submitted
• Radius: 60 miles
