Schedule
- 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday
- No weekends

Required Qualifications
- BLS certification
- Valid driver’s license and insurance
- HomeCare HomeBase experience
- Experience with wound vacs, ostomies, and wound care in general
Patient Care / Role Focus
- Direct patient care field staff only
- Routine home health visits only; no SOCs or recerts
- Common patient needs include wound care, wound vacs, new ostomies, post-surgical wounds, cardiac conditions, CHF, pneumonia, IV antibiotics with PICC line care, labs
- No pediatric patients
- No hospice care
- No utilization review
- No on-call or standby requirement
- No floating required
Work Setting Details
- Home health only
- Orientation includes a preceptor and is expected to last up to one week
- Charting is done on a Samsung tablet
- A cell phone is issued for the assignment
Additional Notes
- Mileage is not paid
- Scrubs are not required; neat, appropriate regular clothing is acceptable
- Patients may use oxygen or nebulizers; no vents are used
