Valid RN license in Virginia
CVOR experience with a minimum of 3 years, including scrub and circulating nurse experience in complex cardiac, thoracic, and vascular cases within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association
Experience with coronary artery bypass (primary and redo procedures)
Experience with aortic aneurysms
Experience with aortic valve replacement (AVR) and mitral valve replacement (MVR), including primary and redo procedures
Experience with transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
Experience with extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO)
Experience with ventricular assist devices (VAD)
OR Scrub RN experience
Ability to multitask effectively
Ability to apply critical thinking skills

Role involves both scrubbing and circulating duties in the cardiovascular operating room setting
