Job Description

Requirements:
- ACLS, BLS, & NIH certifications required
- Strong cardiac care experience required
- Unit is a Combined Critical Care
- Minimum of 3 years ICU experience
- Must live 150 miles away from the facility or in a Metropolitan area

Certifications Required

ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
BLS - Basic Life Support
PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support
NRP - Neonatal Resuscitation Procedure (as applicable)
CHEMO - Chemotherapy (as applicable)
TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course (as applicable)
EFM - Electronic Fetal Monitoring (as applicable)
HIPAA Safety Manual Acknowledgment
NIH Stroke Certification (as applicable)
State License Verification
NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
Color Blind Testing Online
Competency Exam

Health Documents Required

Physical Exam - required within 1 year of start
Fit Mask - required and must be updated annually
TDAP Vaccine - required within 10 years of start
Negative TB or Chest X-Ray
Rubeola (Measles) - Positive Titer or 2 Vaccines required
Mumps - Positive Titer or 2 Vaccines required
Rubella - Positive Titer or 2 Vaccines required
Hepatitis B - Positive Titer, Series (3), or Declination
Varicella - Positive Titer or 2 Vaccines required
Drug Testing - Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen within 10 business days prior to start date
Flu Seasonal Vaccination/Documentation - 2024-25

Background Check Requirements

7 Year Background Check - required within 1 year of start
EPLS/GSA/SAM Check - required within 30 days of start
HHS/OIG Check - required within 30 days of start
References - 2 required within 3 years of start
Employment Application - copy required
Education Verification - highest level required

Additional Information

Candidates must review and sign various acknowledgments and agreements prior to starting.
Modules will be required for all candidates during orientation, taking roughly 3-4 hours to complete.
