Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Cath Lab

Job Description

  • Position: RN/Cath Lab
  • Patient Ratios: 1:1
  • Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year
  • First-timers Accepted: Yes
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
  • On-call Requirement: Yes, rotating (1 night/week, every 2-4 weekends)
  • Floating: Yes, within service line
  • Local Candidates: Not accepted (must live at least 75 miles from the facility)
  • Pending License: Accepted
  • RTO Restrictions: No more than 7 days
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours/week

Special Requirements

  • Certifications Required:
    • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
    • BLS (Basic Life Support)
    • Interventional scrub experience
  • Patient Diagnoses:
    • AMI, Chest pain, Heart failure, NSTEMI, Aortic Stenosis, V-Tach, Endocarditis, Afib, Peripheral vascular disease, Sick sinus syndrome
  • Special Procedures/Unit Details:
    • RN Circulator needed for diagnostic and interventional PCI environment
    • Responsibilities include providing conscious sedation, handing off sterile supplies, assessing vitals, and documenting in EPIC
    • Likely to cross-train to run hemodynamics in the monitor tech role

  • Professional References: Two required, preferably from supervisors within the last year.
