• Employment Type: Travel/Contract
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (approximately 3 months)
• Start Date: ASAP
• Shifts:

  • 5 shifts per week, 8 hours each
  • Rotating schedule including weekends every 5 weeks and some holidays
  • Shift times vary:

    • 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
    • 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
    • 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
    • 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Weekend/Holiday shifts: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
• Call: Required
• Weekends: Required, rotating every 5 weeks

Requirements

• License: Missouri Pharmacist license in good standing
• Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of hospital pharmacy experience (inpatient hospital experience required)
  • Retail pharmacy experience preferred but not required
• Certifications:

  • BLS (Basic Life Support) preferred
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred
• EMR System: Cerner Community Works
• First Time Travelers: Accepted (prior travel experience NOT required)

Additional Requirements

• Background checks including 7-year criminal history and federal exclusions
• Proof of identity and eligibility to work (I9, government-issued photo ID, E-Verify)
• Health documents including:

  • Physical exam (initial and annual)
  • Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
  • Immunizations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Hepatitis B, Varicella
  • Drug screening within 30 days of start
  • N95 fit test within past 12 months
  • Seasonal flu vaccination or declination accepted
• Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency as applicable
• Proof of clinical references (2 required)
