Job Opportunity: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)

- 4x10 hour shifts (06:30 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Weekends required: 3 weekend shifts per contract
- Call required: 1-2 weeknight call shifts per week (Mon-Fri 7 PM - 7 AM) and 3-4 weekend call shifts per month (Sat-Sun 7 AM - 7 AM)

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab & Interventional Radiology (IR) experience
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required (AHA or ARC)
Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for Maryland
First-time travelers accepted (prior travel experience not required)

Additional Requirements

Must complete criminal background check within 90 days prior to start
Drug screening within 90 days prior to start (excluding marijuana)
Annual physical exam confirming ability to perform job duties without accommodations and free from communicable disease
Immunization and health documentation including:
- Negative TB test or chest x-ray within last year (or annual questionnaire if prior positive)
- Tdap vaccine within last 10 years preferred
- Documentation of MMR (measles, mumps, rubella) and varicella immunity or vaccination
- Hepatitis B titer, series, or signed declination
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved exemption during flu season
Completion of facility-specific orientation modules prior to start
Medication, pharmacology, and competency exams required within 3 years of start date, including Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam specific to Cath Lab specialty
Two positive supervisory references supporting at least 2 years of experience within the last 3 years
Complete 7 years of work history with no gaps, including education, employment, license, and contact information

Summary

This is a travel contract position for a Cath Lab RN in Baltimore, MD, requiring 2 years of Cath Lab and IR experience, ACLS and BLS certifications, and weekend and call coverage.
