Job Opportunity: Operating Room Registered Nurse (Travel/Contract)
Location: Chicago, Illinois
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM (No weekends, no holidays, no on-call)

Job Description
- Position in DCAM (Ambulatory) Operating Room
- Surgical services include Orthopedics, Plastics, Urology, Ophthalmology, and Gynecology
- Candidate should preferably have circulating and scrub experience
Required Experience
- Specialty: Registered Nurse (Operating Room)

- Core Parts I, II, III (annual updates)
- OSHA Mandatory Training (annual update)
Health and Compliance Requirements
- Criminal Background Check within 6 months of start (7-year search including alias, county, national sex offender)
- EPLS/GSA/SAM and HHS/OIG checks within 30 days of start, updated monthly
- Physical Exam within 1 year of start, signed by MD, PA, NP, or DO
- N95 Mask Fit Testing within 1 year (not required for sterile processing, clerical, remote)
- TDAP vaccine within 10 years
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray per facility protocol
- Immunizations or positive titers for Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella
- Hepatitis B vaccine series or declination; Surface AG and AB titers required for renal dialysis assignments
- Negative 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start
- Flu vaccine or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season (Dec 1 - Apr 30)
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 1 professional reference from management and 1 employment verification covering 1 year of experience within the past 2 years
- Employment application and unit-specific skills checklist required
- Facility-specific documents including badge photo, compliance checklists, fingernail policy, and online training modules must be completed prior to orientation
