Work Schedule Options
40 hours/week:
- Sunday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Monday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
- Thursday: 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
30-32 hours/week (alternative):
- Sunday: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM
- Monday: 6:00 AM - 5:30 or 6:30 PM
- Friday: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Required Certifications
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS (Basic Life Support), preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), preferably from American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- National Tech Certification as applicable
- State License verification (primary source online verification)
- NURSYS Verification (for RN, LPN/LVN, AP)
Required Documentation & Compliance
- Government issued photo ID (Driver’s License/State ID)
- Emergency Contact Form (prior to start)
- Background Checks (7-year search, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG) updated annually
- Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Competency Exam (as applicable)
- Clear passport-style photo for badge
- Facility-specific forms including flu medical/religious exemption, TB risk assessment, COVID & flu exemption, Hep B & TDAP declination, demographics, emergency contact, code of conduct, confidentiality agreement, and vaccine declination forms as applicable
- Physical exam within 1 year of start
- Respirator Fit Test (N95) within last 12 months including OSHA Respiratory Form
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year of start (with specific rules for past positives)
- Proof of immunity or vaccination for:
- Rubeola (Measles)
- Mumps
- Rubella
- Hepatitis B (titer, declination, or vaccine series)
- Varicella (titer, vaccines, or history of chickenpox)
- Drug Testing: 9 Panel Drug Screen within 1 year of start (instant drug screen acceptable)
- Seasonal Flu Vaccination or Declination during flu season (10/1 - 3/31)
- COVID-19 Vaccination proof or declination (with specific rules for vaccinations before/after 9/12/23)
- Respiratory Safety Clearance including completed OSHA questionnaire
References & Experience
- 2 Professional References required for Travel, Allied, Per Diem Acute Care
- 1 Professional Reference required for Per Diem Non-Acute Care
- References not required for Non-Clinical roles
