Location: Marrero, Louisiana
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Night shift: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM (4x12 hour shifts)
Scheduling options: alternating 3x12 and 4x12 shifts every other week, or straight 4x12 shifts
Weekend work required
Holiday coverage: at least 2 out of 3 holidays
No on-call duties
Float required
Patient ratio: 1:6

Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Louisiana
Minimum 2 years of Telemetry nursing experience, with Telemetry experience within the last year
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Heart Association
ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
Experience with Epic electronic health record system
Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
Care for cerebrovascular accidents (CVA)
Pre-operative and post-operative neuro surgery care
Management of spinal cord injuries
Management of traumatic brain injuries
