Job Opportunity: Interventional Radiology Tech
Location: Dayton, Ohio

Job Summary
Seeking an Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech with neurointerventional experience. The position involves working day shifts with a schedule of four 10-hour days per week (7:30 AM to 6:00 PM) plus weekly on-call duties, including 2 weekend calls and 6 weekday call shifts over the 13-week contract.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Interventional Radiology Technologist license in Ohio
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an Interventional Radiology Technologist
- Recent Interventional Radiology Technologist experience within the last year
- Associate degree in Allied Health, majoring in Radiologic Technology
- ARRT RT (R) certification
- BLS certification
Shift Details
- Day shift: 4 days per week, 10 hours per day
- Weekly on-call: 2 weekends and 6 weekdays over the contract period
Compliance and Documentation Requirements
- Government-issued photo ID (Driver’s License or State ID)
- E-Verify compliance required prior to start
- 7-year criminal background check including SSN trace, national/state checks, and sex offender registry
- Education verification (primary source)
- Physical exam within 2 years, indicating fitness to work and free of communicable diseases
- Negative TB test or chest X-ray; annual TB questionnaire if past positive
- Drug screening: 9 or 10 panel negative drug screen within 12 months, including marijuana panel
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption required during flu season
- Respiratory safety clearance within 1 year, renewed annually
- References: 2 professional references within 2 years (1 must be a manager/supervisor) or employment verification if references unavailable
- Skills checklist updated within 1 year
- Competency exams and medication/pharmacology competency within required timeframes
Additional Certifications and Competencies (If Applicable)
- ACLS preferred but not mandatory
- Unit-specific competency exams required within 2 years
- Medication test/pharmacology competency exam within 2 years
- Dysrhythmia/EKG competency exam required for RNs (not applicable for this tech role)
