Job Opportunity: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech

Location

Lexington, Kentucky

Employment Type

Travel/Contract
Contract length: 14 weeks

Work Schedule

Night shift, 3 shifts per week
12 hours per shift (18:00 to 6:00)
Total 36 hours per week

Job Description

Perform polysomnographic studies following Joint Commission and departmental policies.
Monitor and document respiratory and cardiac events, sleep pathology.
Determine use of CPAP/BiPAP during studies.
Record and analyze sleep/wake physiology.
Score studies for patients ranging from pediatric to geriatric.
Provide optimal exam data to support physician diagnosis.
Local travelers within 100 miles are not accepted.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Polysomnographer.
Polysomnographer experience within the last year.
