PCU/Oncology RN Travel Contract
Location
- Dayton, Ohio
Schedule
- Day shift
- 4x12 hours
- 36 or 48 hours per week
- No block schedule
- Every other weekend and holiday required
Contract Length
- 13 weeks
Unit Overview
- Mixed-acuity oncology and hematology unit
- Patient population includes medical-surgical and advanced care patients
- Floating required to all stepdown/advanced care units
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Ohio
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit (1 year of experience)
- PCU - Progressive Care Unit experience within the last year
- BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
- Oncology experience
- Experience with Epic
Preferred Qualifications
- Sickle cell experience
- Chemo certification
- Level 1 or Level 2 experience
- Travel experience
Additional Notes
- Nurses with ONS certification may administer chemotherapy on the unit
- N95 fitting is required before working on the HRRU unit unless PAPR is offered or needed
- Navy blue scrubs required
