Job Opportunity: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: Oakland, California
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Day shift, 5 days a week, 8 hours per day (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

Job Description

• Provide social services with case management experience required.
• Must be able to float to other facilities within the system.

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid LCSW license.
• Case management experience.
• Current and valid driver’s license, government photo ID, or US Passport (identity must match professional license).
• Two supervisory references from recent employment (at least one within the last year).
• Updated resume including last 7 years of work history; gaps of 30 days or more must be explained.
• Verification of 7 years of work history matching the resume.
• Unit-specific skills checklist updated annually.
• Physical exam within 1 year of start including physician statement of fitness to work.
• Background checks including 7-year criminal check, EPLS/GSA/SAM, HHS/OIG, sex offender search, and education verification.
• Drug testing (standard 9 panel excluding THC) within 30 days of start, re-run every 2 years.
• Negative TB testing: two negative TB tests required (one within 1 year, one within 3 months of start) or appropriate documentation for positive TB history.
• Required immunizations or titers: Rubeola (Measles), Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap (within 10 years, no declinations accepted except medical exemptions).
• Flu vaccine or facility-specific declination required during flu season if onsite over 10 days.
• COVID-19 vaccination is strongly recommended but not required.
• Completion of facility-specific learning modules and compliance training prior to or at orientation.
• Pass/fail medication and telemetry competency exams as applicable.

Preferred Qualifications

• LCSW-C certification.
• Pediatric experience.
• Experience with Federal, State, or County Health programs.

Additional Requirements

• Must complete annual TB questionnaire and other health screenings as required.
• Fit mask test within 1 year of start; onsite fit testing available as last resort.
• Completion of cybersecurity awareness training and HIPAA training as applicable.
• Ability to comply with facility-specific policies including COVID-19 preparedness and vaccination exemption processes.

• This position requires working onsite with the ability to float between facilities.
• All documentation and verifications must be completed and approved prior to start.
• Candidates must be prepared for pass/fail testing on medication and telemetry during orientation.
• Non-clinical requirements do not apply to this clinical role.
