Overview

  • Travel/contract registered nurse role in Saint Louis, Missouri
  • Short-term acute care setting
  • Night shift: 3x12 hours, 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
  • 36 hours per week
  • Start date is approximately 3–4 weeks out, depending on compliance tier
  • Contract length: 18 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in Missouri
  • Med Surg / Telemetry (2 years of experience)
  • Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
  • BLS issued by American Heart Association
  • ACLS issued by American Heart Association
  • IV Certification
  • Telemetry
  • Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Schedule and Assignment Details

  • Every other weekend required, or at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
  • Holiday rotation required
  • No on-call
  • No block scheduling
  • Local candidates are not accepted within a 75-mile radius
  • Floating required within scope to medical, surgical, renal, oncology, neuro, and cardiology units
  • Ratios: 1:5–6 on days and weekends; 1:6 on nights

Additional Requirements

  • No more than 7 days of requested time off per 13-week contract
  • Government-issued ID required
  • Unit-specific competency exam required
  • Unit-specific skills checklist required
  • Employment application required
  • Two professional references required
  • Physical exam required within 1 year of start
  • Fit testing required
  • Drug screening required within 1 year of start and must remain valid through the assignment
  • Flu vaccination or approved exemption required during flu season
  • TB documentation required
  • Tdap documentation or declination required
  • Hepatitis B declination required
  • HIPAA acknowledgement required
  • Latex allergy questionnaire required
  • Confidentiality form required
  • Regulatory compliance education required
  • Hand hygiene policy acknowledgement required
