Job Overview

• Travel/contract physical therapy role in home health
• Day shift, 5x8 schedule: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week
• Contract length: 13 weeks

Setting and Duties

• Home visits with periodic office meetings
• Typical caseload: 5–6 patients per day
• Start-of-care and follow-up visits
• Territory may require travel up to 75 miles from the home clinic

Required Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Massachusetts
• Physical Therapist (1 year of experience)
• Physical Therapist experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience working with Adult patients
• Driver's License
• Experience with Homecare Homebase

Schedule Notes

• Weekend coverage varies by location and profession
• On-call requirement varies by job/location

Compensation and Travel

• Mileage is reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Travel time between patient homes is compensated
• Commute to the first patient and from the last patient is not billable

• Local candidates are accepted
• Housing is available at additional cost
