Job Overview

• Location: Morristown, Tennessee
• Employment type: Travel/Contract
• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night, 3x12 hours
• Hours per week: 36
• Setting: Med-surg/telemetry float role

Key Responsibilities

• Must be open to floating to MS/Tele, ER Holding, and possibly PCU/Stepdown depending on skills and need.
• Must be able to pass EKG testing before the start date.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Tennessee
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Float experience within the last year
• 1 year of float experience
• One completed travel assignment
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• NIHSS certification is required and may be obtained after offer
• Ability to pass dysrhythmia/EKG competency testing within 12 months of start
• Ability to pass color blind testing within 12 months prior to start
• 2 supervisory references from employers worked for in the past 3 years
• 7-year work history with no gaps over 30 days without explanation

Preferred Qualifications

• ACLS certification

Schedule Requirements

• 6 weekend nights per 6-week schedule
• Holidays as needed

Additional Notes

• Travelers requesting time off during listed holiday periods will not be accommodated.
• Local candidates within 75 miles are paid at a lower rate than travelers.
• Drivers license or state ID is required.
• A utility bill, mortgage statement, or lease in the candidate’s name is required to verify distance from the facility.
• Physical exam, negative TB documentation, TB questionnaire, drug screening, flu documentation, and immunization records are required before start.
