Overview

• Travel/Contract RN role in Prestonsburg, Kentucky
• 13-week assignment
• Night shifts: 3x12 or 4x12, 19:00–7:30
• 36 hours per week
• Float required within scope of practice
• Every other weekend required
• Blocked scheduling cannot be accommodated
• Flu vaccine required; declinations not accepted
• Medical and religious exemptions may be approved case by case
• Candidate must reside at least 75 miles from the facility; locals are not accepted

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Kentucky
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• TNCC
• NIHSS
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• Driver's License
• Medication Test/Pharmacology Competency Exam
• Competency Exam within 1 year prior to start, renewed annually
• Dysrhythmia/EKG Competency Exam within 1 year of start, renewed annually
• Core Part I
• Core Part II
• Core Part III
• 2 references within 1 year of start; one may be a Charge RN, but the second must be a supervisor or higher
• 7-year work history verification
• Complete application/resume with education and work history
• Skills Checklist 1
• Physical exam or physician note within 1 year prior to start, stating clear to work and free of restrictions
• Negative TB or Chest X-Ray within 1 year of start
• Tetanus/Diphtheria/Tdap valid within 10 years
• Rubeola, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella immunity documentation as specified in the source
• Hepatitis B series, titer, or declination
• Drug testing within 30 days of start
• Kentucky vulnerable adult maltreatment registry verification within 30 days prior to start
