Overview

• Travel/contract RN role
• Start date: 10/12
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Night shift: 3x12s, 19:00–07:30
• Hours per week: 36
• Ratios: 1:4–5
• Weekend requirement: every other weekend
• Required to work all scheduled shifts; scheduling requests outside approved RTO cannot be accommodated
• Holiday requirement: must work 2 holidays; no Christmas RTO
• First-timers accepted: No
• Locals accepted: Yes
• On-call: No
• Block scheduling: Not accommodated
• Floating: May float within scope to meet facility needs
• Unit scope includes acute care and telemetry units, including Behavioral Health and Respite

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Washington
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• 2 years of float experience
• Float experience within the last year
• One completed travel assignment
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• BLS - Basic Life Support issued by American Heart Association
• NIHSS
• Orthopedics experience
• Neuro ICU experience
• Stroke experience
• Experience with Epic

Preferred

• Manager prefers to avoid travel pairs

Additional Notes

• Experience with Ortho/Neuro-Stroke and Cardiac Tele is required
• Peripheral nerve catheters are high volume on ortho floors
• The acute care float pool goes to all acute care and telemetry units
• Split 12-hour shifts may be divided into 8 hours in one area and 4 hours in another, so strong time management is important
