Job Opportunity: Monitor Tech

Location: Baltimore, Maryland
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Primarily 3x12 hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), every other weekend required
Manager may consider 8-hour shifts as well (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM; 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM; 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM)


Job Description

  • Role supports units transitioning from RN-managed to specialty tech roles.
  • Position involves cardiac monitoring duties.
  • Floating required to all specialties where cardiac monitoring is in place and to a sister facility as needed.
  • No pre-scheduled on-call shifts.
  • Holidays required as scheduled.

Requirements/Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of Monitor Technician experience within the last year.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • Cardiac Monitor Tech certification accepted: CCI (Cardiac Credentialing International).
