Job Opportunity: CVOR Tech - Surgical Services

Location: Ann Arbor, Michigan
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Shift: Day/Evening rotating schedule with 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts
Shift rotation is required
Call requirements: 2-4 weeknights and 1-2 weekends of call per 4-week schedule
Call shifts are no longer than 12 hours; weekend call is either Friday-Saturday night or Saturday-Sunday daytime
Work with adult cardiac surgery patients, vascular, and thoracic cases including complex and high acuity patients

Patient Cases Include:

Cardiac:

LVAD/RVAD
Heart Transplant
Aortic Aneurysm Repair
MVR, AVR, CABG
ECMO
MAZE procedure
Aortic Balloon/Impella Devices

Thoracic:

Transplant
VATS Wedge Resection
VATS/Open Lobectomy
Esophagectomy (Minimally Invasive & Transhiatal)
Bronchoscopy
EGD
Mediastinal Mass Removal
Laparoscopic & Open Hiatal Hernia Repair

Vascular:

AAA
EVAR
Carotid Endarterectomy
AV Fistulas
Fem-distal bypass
Fem-fem bypass
SMA bypass
Vein stripping/ablation

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of CVOR Technologist experience, including experience within the last year
Completion of at least one travel assignment
Ability to cardiac scrub
