Location: Memphis, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel/Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary
Seeking a Pediatric Ultrasound Tech with experience in Radiology/Cardiology. The position is day shift with a schedule that may change based on unit needs. Start date is ASAP.
Requirements
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty
- Pediatric experience is a must
- First-time travelers accepted only if they have 3+ years of recent experience
- Prior travel experience is NOT explicitly required
Certifications & Licenses
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography) certification required
- Must hold a valid state license as applicable for Ultrasound Techs
Other Qualifications
- Must live within 100 miles of the facility location
- Required to submit Return to Office (RTO) documentation at time of application
- Cannot request time off for Memorial Day and 4th of July
Compliance & Documentation Requirements
- Background check within 60 days of start including statewide, county, federal, and education verification
- E-Verify or attestation as applicable
- Physical exam within 1 year of start, attesting ability to meet physical demands
- Negative 10-panel drug test within 30 days of start (no pending compliance allowed)
- Immunizations and health documents including:
- TB test or chest X-ray within 1 year
- Proof of vaccinations or titers for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Hepatitis B
- Seasonal flu vaccination or approved medical/religious exemption (required during flu season)
- Fit mask test (3M N-95) within 1 year of start
- Two recent professional references required
Additional Notes
- Photo for badge must meet strict guidelines (passport-style, no hats, no glasses with glare, etc.)
- Dress code: Navy blue scrubs for RNs, Caribbean blue for RRTs, steel gray for Surgical and OB Techs; no prints or embroidered scrubs allowed
- Various competency exams and facility-specific documents required prior to start
- Must sign confidentiality acknowledgment before starting
