Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Details
- Shift: 7 on, 7 off night shift (Wednesday night to Tuesday morning)
- Patient Population: Adolescents to Geriatrics (Neonates to Pediatrics rare)
- Work Settings: Inpatient and Outpatient
- Skills Required:
- IV Starts
- PACS
- Contrast Skills
- Electronic Systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
- Floating: Yes, may float to a nearby main campus hospital (~3 miles away)
- Call Requirements: None
- Holiday Work:
- If 1 major holiday falls during assignment, expected to work it
- If 2 major holidays fall, expected to work both
- If 3 major holidays fall, expected to work 2 of them
- Major Holidays Include: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day
- Return to Office (RTO): Maximum 7 days
Required Qualifications
- CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience
- CT Technologist experience within the last year
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification
- Experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Compliance & Screening
- Full compliance required to start on time; delays may result in a 2-week pushback due to orientation scheduling
- Clinical screening will be conducted to determine clinical fit before final approval
- Background check required within 30 days of start, including education verification
- Drug screening (10-panel) required within 60 days of start
- Physical exam required within 12 months of start
- Immunizations and health documents required:
- TB test or chest x-ray within 12 months
- TB questionnaire (annual)
- MMR (Measles, Mumps, Rubella) vaccination or positive titer
- Varicella vaccination or positive titer
- Hepatitis B surface antibody titer or signed declination
- Flu vaccination or declination (seasonal)
Additional Requirements
- Color blindness test required; alternative assessment available if needed
- Competency exams required (Medication, Dysrhythmia/EKG) with limited attempts allowed
- Skills checklist within 12 months, updated annually
- Verification of recent work history and clinical references required

- Weekends depend on the shift posted

- Number of non-billable orientation hours depends on contract length
