Job Description

• In-person position, Monday through Friday, no weekends or holidays.
• Pre-approved time off allowed up to 5 days during the contract.
• Requires high proficiency in EPIC and InterQual systems for clinical review and medical necessity determination.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 1 year of Utilization Review experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system
• Certification in Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
• Experience with Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification

• Orientation and onboarding are conducted onsite; includes completion of modules and competency testing.
• Candidates must sign various acknowledgments including HIPAA, workplace violence prevention, and facility-specific policies.
• Badge and identification requirements include government-issued photo ID and facility badge.
