Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER), Nights

Location: Lancaster, NH (rural area) Employment Type: Temp Contract Length: 13 weeks Shift: Nights, 7p-7a (12 hours), with occasional flex to mid-day shift

Role Overview

Single-RN coverage: 1 RN in the department after 10pm, and alone after 1am (with House Coordinator as backup) until 8am.
Candidates must be able to work independently and have solid skills.
Critical access hospital with 25 beds, offering medical, surgical, and intensive care services, plus outpatient, oncology, laboratory, and radiology services.

Requirements

Valid RN license in New Hampshire
Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
Active TNCC
Active BLS issued by American Heart Association
Active ACLS issued by American Heart Association
Active PALS issued by American Heart Association
Active NIHSS
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) / Associate Degree in Nursing

Housing must be secured before offer acceptance (at additional cost).

Pros

Med surge nurses down the hall very helpful. Good people to work with. Amazing tech Lex. Management of hospital had a lot of turnover. High level hospital management not doing enough to help sleep department succeed.
