Overview

• Temp assignment in Clare, Michigan
• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• 13 weeks

Role Summary

• Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Room (ER)
• Triages patients, obtains patient history and vital signs, assesses patients, and provides care for acutely ill and non-acute patients
• Performs nursing assessments, processes provider orders, evaluates treatment plans, and participates in care planning
• Assists with physician procedures and provides discharge and follow-up instructions
• Works with sophisticated equipment in a frequently stressful environment

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Michigan
• ED - Emergency Department (2 years of experience)
• ED - Emergency Department experience within the last year
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) Certification
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• ACLS issued by American Heart Association
• PALS issued by American Heart Association
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing

Preferred

• Travel experience
• NRP
