Clinical Nurse Manager (Days)

Overview

• Temporary role in Brattleboro, Vermont
• 13-week contract
• Day shift, 8 hours per day
• Leads the Adolescent Inpatient Unit, an acute psychiatric stabilization program for youth with significant mental health crises

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Vermont
• Manager experience within the last year
• Minimum 2 years of manager experience in a hospital or inpatient setting
• Experience working with adolescent patients
• Psychiatric experience
• Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
• BLS issued by American Heart Association
• Driver's License
• Resume with psych/leadership experience and all age groups listed
• Psych skills checklist from within the last year
• 2 supervisory references from the last 2 years of employment
• Driver’s license or candidate address must be included in the submission packet

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior leadership experience in an adolescent psychiatric or acute behavioral health program
• Certification in Psychiatric–Mental Health Nursing, or willingness to pursue
• BSN or MSN, or equivalent experience combined with education

Scheduling / Assignment Notes

• RTO is not approved in the first 2 weeks of orientation and cannot exceed 7 days
• CPI is offered onsite; confirm at time of submission
• Any scheduling requests must be included in the submission file
• Locals are accepted
• Candidates living within 35 miles of the facility are subject to a 10% rate decrease
• Housing options and public transportation are limited in the area
