Job Opportunity: Administrative Director (Nights) - Leadership

Job Summary

• Responsible for directing hospital operations during evenings, nights, and weekends.
• Oversight includes inpatient units and all ancillary/support departments operating during these hours.
• Acts as a role model for clinical expertise with the ability to make prompt, quality decisions in clinical settings.
• Supports staff through change with energy and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Manages multiple intense activities or problems calmly and effectively.
• Demonstrates dependability and strong work ethic to motivate others.

Requirements

Experience & Skills

• Minimum of 3 years of successful leadership experience (required).
• Experience in successful conflict resolution (required).
• Demonstrated working knowledge of daily operations in an acute care Medical Center, including emergency/trauma and critical care situations.
• Working knowledge of staffing systems (preferred).

Education & Licensure

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing or higher (required).
• Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in Massachusetts.
• Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required).

Additional Requirements

• Documented evidence of continuing education and professional growth in healthcare and nursing.
• Critical Care skills current within the past year (required).
• Supervisory signed reference from within the past two years (required).
• Must have own vehicle for this assignment.
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility will not be considered.

Notes

• This is an exempt position; no overtime, holiday, call, or call-back premiums apply.
• Non-billable orientation required (8 hours).
• Scheduling requests must be submitted at the time of application; no changes will be approved after offer.
• Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
