Job Description

• Surgical services cover a full spectrum of procedures including general elective surgeries and critical or life-saving operations.
• The facility emphasizes advanced surgical techniques and tools to improve patient care and outcomes.
• A strict attendance policy is in place: any contractor who is absent or more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift 3 times will be terminated immediately, with exceptions for documented communicable diseases or hospitalizations. This policy starts 6/1/2024.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Certified Surgical Tech (CST) experience.
• Experience in ortho, neuro, general surgery, Robot Xi, urology, GYN, and endovascular/vascular procedures is required.
• ENT experience is preferred.
• Michigan state license verification is required for nurses (not applicable here but noted for context).
• A skills checklist completed within one year is required for RN specialties; preferred but not required for other professions.
• References are not required.

Additional Information

• Full-time employees of the facility are not eligible for contract hire within six months of employment.
• Nonbillable hours and overtime/holiday/callback markups apply as per facility policy.
• Local traveler policy reduces travel rate by 10% for those living within 35 miles of the facility.
