Assignment Details
- 13-week contract
- Float between Med Surg and Stepdown
- Patient mix includes med surg and stepdown
- Patient ratios: Days/Evenings 1:4/5; Nights 1:6
- Bed size varies by unit
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Iowa
- Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
- Med Surg / Telemetry (3 years of experience)
- Med Surg / Telemetry experience within the last year
- Experience administering nitro, heparin, and amiodarone including titrates
- ACLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- BLS issued by American Heart Association or American Red Cross
- Driver's License
- Experience with Epic
- Stepdown experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Neurology care experience
- Oncology care experience
- Critical care experience
Schedule Expectations
- Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed
- Required to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed
Other Notes
- EPIC experience is required
- Local radius rule: 50 miles
- Orientation is 16 hours
- Scrub colors: black or navy
