Registered Nurse (RN) - Labor & Delivery (L&D) (Nights)

Location: Plymouth, New Hampshire
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

• Must be proficient and experienced in all aspects of patient care from check-in to pre/post care and discharge.
• Candidates must live outside a 50+ mile radius (no local candidates).
• The unit manages high-risk pregnancy cases including:

  • Preterm labor
  • High blood pressure
  • Diabetes
  • VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean Section)
  • Prenatal testing
  • Amniocentesis
  • Childbirth education classes
• Demonstrates clinical competence by utilizing the nursing process: assess patient needs, establish and implement care plans, evaluate and revise plans based on patient progress.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / OB experience (highest years of experience required)
• Fetal Monitoring experience (required)
• Current certifications:

  • BLS (American Heart Association)
  • AWHONN certification
  • NRP certification
• Labor & Delivery skills checklist within the past year (required)
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment (required)
• Active RN license verification (required)
• Must include permanent address in submission
• Prior travel experience is highly preferred but not required

Additional Information

• Start date: May 31st
• Shift: Nights
• Must include Return to Office (RTO) availability in submission (limit to 5 days)
• Location offers access to outdoor recreation, cultural activities, and proximity to major cities and beaches
