Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)

Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Description

Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care following physician’s orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards.
Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective actions.
Provide education to patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to respiratory therapy work.

Required Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT.
Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.

Additional Information

Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs.
Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.

No prior travel experience requirement specified.
