Respiratory Therapist (Night Shift)
Location: Lansing, Michigan
Employment Type: Temporary
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Description
- Deliver respiratory therapy and patient care following physician’s orders, hospital policies, and departmental standards.
- Perform therapeutic and diagnostic pulmonary and cardiovascular procedures.
- Evaluate patient response to respiratory therapy and take appropriate corrective actions.
- Provide education to patients and staff on respiratory procedures, equipment operation, and safety precautions.
- Perform routine maintenance and service checks on respiratory equipment.
- Maintain records, reports, and documentation related to respiratory therapy work.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT.
- Experience with ventilators, BiPAP, ICU, ER, and arterial blood gas (ABG) procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
Additional Information
- Dress code: Galaxy blue scrubs.
- Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.
