Job Description

Seeking a Polysomnography Technologist for a travel assignment. The role involves performing sleep studies and related diagnostic procedures.


Required Qualifications

  • License: Must hold a valid license or certification as a Polysomnography Technologist.
  • Experience: Minimum years of experience not explicitly stated; assume entry-level to mid-level based on specialty.
  • Vaccinations & Health Requirements:
    • COVID-19 vaccine (including booster proof or approved exemption)
    • MMR vaccination proof
    • Fit Test certification
    • Hepatitis B vaccination series (titers not accepted)
    • Influenza vaccine (seasonal, with proof or exemption)
    • 2 Step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot) test for TB
    • Varicella vaccination proof

  • Drug Screening: 10-panel drug screen completed within 30 days of start (no THC)

    • Exclusion and sanction screenings (OIG, EPLS, OFAC)
    • Sex offender and abuse registry checks (Iowa-specific)
    • Conflict of Interest and Confidentiality agreements
    • Integrity and audit services form
  • Competency Testing:
    • Specialty-specific competency testing within the last year
    • Joint Commission testing (CORE exam) within the last year
    • Skills checklist within the last year

    • Resume and two professional references
