Job Opportunity: Radiation Therapist
Location: Cincinnati, Ohio
Employment Type: Long-Term Assignment (approximately 11 weeks)
Required Qualifications
- Valid Radiation Therapist license in Ohio
- Minimum of 1 year of Radiation Therapist experience
- Radiation Therapist experience within the last year
Health and Compliance Requirements (Must be completed prior to or at start of assignment)
- MMR: Proof of 2 MMR vaccinations or positive IGG titer required. If negative/equivocal, 1 booster required at start and a 2nd booster 1 month later. Declining vaccination is not permitted.
- Hepatitis B: Series of 3 vaccinations, positive titer, or declination accepted. If negative/equivocal, 1 booster or declination accepted.
- Influenza Vaccine: Required during flu season (10/01/25–3/31/26). Vaccine or approved medical/religious exemptions accepted on a case-by-case basis.
- TB Test: Completed within 30 days prior to assignment start. Acceptable tests include QuantiFERON, T-Spot, or 2-step skin test. For past positives, chest X-ray within 1 year plus updated TB questionnaire required.
- Varicella: Proof of 2 vaccinations or positive IGG titer required. If negative/equivocal, 1 booster at start and a 2nd booster 1 month later. Declining vaccination is not permitted.
- Physical/Health Statement: Must be current within 1 year.
- Drug Screen: 9-panel drug screen completed within 90 days prior to start. Marijuana removed from panel. Must be repeated with any break in service.
- Criminal Background Check: Completed within 90 days prior to start. Includes 7-year county and national checks, SSN trace, sex offender registry, and other federal databases.
- References: Two professional references within the last 2 years, provided by a charge nurse or higher.
- Education Verification: Highest level of education verified via third party or transcripts.
- Badge Photo: Recent color photo (within 6 months), professional headshot with solid background.
- Skills Checklist: Current and complete within 12 months prior to start date, specific to the position.
- Compliance Training: Annual compliance training module must be completed and certified.
Documentation Required for Submission
- Current valid driver’s license or government-issued ID (front side only).
- Resume.
- Attestation for I-9 E-Verify.
Additional Notes
- Specialty and pharmacology exams are optional but recommended.
- Internal competency checklist must be completed within 2 weeks after start date to maintain assignment.
- All health and credential verifications must be completed within specified timeframes prior to assignment start.
