PET/CT technologist

1 to 2 years of PET CT experience
Dual certification in PET/CT: ARRT (CT) and ARRT (N) are both required, or certification through NMTCB instead of ARRT
New York license required for both CT Tech and Nuc Med Tech

Pre-screens patients for contraindications and follows aseptic injection technique and radiation safety/regulations
Produces high quality diagnostic images
Communicates with customers and/or radiologists
Trains new technologists and/or PC's
Troubleshoots the scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment, including monitors, PACS, and coils
