Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• License for state of practice
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Experience

• Prior work experience in a like or related position may be helpful

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care according to physician orders and resident care plans
• Update care plans as needed
• Document resident observations and care provided
• Notify physicians and process orders
• Respond to resident call lights
• Educate residents and families/significant others
• Follow infection control, standard precautions, and transmission guidelines
• Handle linens and soiled materials according to regulations and guidelines

Work Environment

• Every other weekend and holiday
• No on-call or call-back
• Local placements within 80 miles
• Housing is available if used, at additional cost
